Unfortunately, we don’t have any Black Hawk logistics centers with you at this time, so we have to ship from Europe. We are working hard to provide free shipping to every country in the world. Unfortunately, we are still a long way away from that, but there is one thing we can promise today. The shipping fees guarantee a CO2 neutral transport.

Orders under the value $1000 AUD to Australia will not be subject to any customs and import fees.

Import Duties? What the hell is that

You can be sure, we hate fees as much as you do. We’d love to take care of them for you, or at least offer an option for easy payment. Unfortunately, this is out of our hands and the costs vary from country to country and depend on the weight of the order, among other things. But don’t be discouraged, it’s usually pretty easy to settle the costs incurred.

Import duties are taxes levied by the customs authority when goods are imported into a country. Usually, the value of the imported goods determines the amount levied on them. In some contexts, import duties are also referred to as customs duties, tariffs, or import taxes.

Economically, import duties are levied to provide revenue to the government and to protect domestic goods from the dominance of foreign products. However, there are other reasons for imposing taxes. One of them is to prevent the flooding of the domestic market with foreign products. Import duties are also levied to punish a country through a sanction mechanism.

Do I need to pay customs and import fees?

If you refuse to pay the customs and import fees and the package is returned to Black Hawk Clothing, a shipping and handling fee may be deducted from your refund as this aspect of the order has been fulfilled. If you would like us to reship the order, we may ask you to pay the shipping charges.

Tax sales

Sales tax – also known as value added tax or GST, depending on where you live – is a tax levied on the supply of goods or services. Typically, businesses are registered in the countries they sell to and end customers pay their country’s tax rate. However, Black Hawk is currently growing but is by no means large enough to make it worthwhile to register in every country. Accordingly, we use German VAT for all orders. As soon as we exceed certain thresholds for the respective countries, we apply the local VAT and pay the taxes to the local authorities.

All taxes are paid to the tax authorities, so Black Hawk does not keep any of the tax money paid.
